We are an independent, private music school and event agency located at Bonner Straße 233 in 42697 Solingen-Ohligs. The founder and owner is Sabine Charlotte Langen.
Since 2009, we have been designing and implementing individual music training programs for beginners and returning players, as well as exceptional team building events for companies.
In our in-house publishing house Klangsalon, we develop and distribute innovative music education learning materials and coaching concepts.
Our team consists of permanent freelance music trainers, service providers & consultants, some with decades of professional experience.

Courageous, passionate, innovative
Sabine Charlotte Langen is an entrepreneur, music coach, and motivator. She loves inspiring others to actively make music. Her mission: "There's no such thing as unmusical or untalented. Everyone has a musician inside them."
Therefore, in 2009, after a career as a marketing manager at the US multi-technology company 3M as well as a manager at the mobile network operator Telefónica (earlier: E-Plus Mobile Communications) her own music business Klangsalon in Düsseldorf. In 2017, her Klangsalon moved to the beautiful green location at Bonner Straße 233 in 42697 Solingen.
Award-winning method accelerates learning
Sabine Charlotte Langen has received several awards for the development of the Klangsalon method and her book "Playing the Piano Made Easy: Colors Instead of Notes": 2nd prize at the Düsseldorf Women Entrepreneurs Award in 2013, the DABEI Special Innovation Prize in 2011, and the NRW State Women Entrepreneurs Certificate in 2010.
Speaker, lecturer and certified business coach
The founder and entrepreneur Sabine Charlotte Langen is a popular speaker, lecturer, and workshop facilitator. The main topics are change management and motivation in challenging times.It is certified according to the international ASQ standard. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and recently had a Workshop series on the topic of "Artificial Intelligence and Music for Beginners"developed and implemented.
Voluntary engagement for women's empowerment
The owner of the sound salon is Member of BPW Germany Business and Professional Women and is committed to networking and further education for women in leadership positions. From May 2022 to February 2024, the passionate pianist was honorary managing director for communications in the Federal Association of Independent Music Schools (bdfm).
Leo Henrichs
Leo Henrichs is a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist who works as a live and studio musician and composes commissioned pieces for theatre and film.
The Düsseldorf native plays all types of classical, acoustic and electric guitars, electric bass, mandolin, banjo, guitar violin, lap steel, oud, as well as charango and valiha.
Leo Henrichs supports the Klangsalon team as Senior music trainer, consultant & arranger since 2009. The experienced professional musician is attracted to the conceptual approach and the intensive collaboration with musical beginners.
Leo Henrichs explains: “Klangsalon’s core competence lies in preparing and teaching songs to amateur teams in such a way that even large groups can play them back with typical band instruments in just a few hours. The result is astonishing!”
Carolin Pook
Carolin Pook is a German violinist, percussionist, composer, improvisational musician, and conductor. She belongs to the musical avant-garde scene and composes and works for, among others, the Moers Festival, the EOS Chamber Orchestra Cologne, and the Monheim Triennale 2022.
Carolin Pook has supported the Klangsalon team as a senior music trainer and consultant since April 2022. She lived in New York/USA until 2021 and is a master at empowering teams and coaching them to musical success.
Carolin Pook comes from a family of musicians. Her grandfather Waldemar von Bausznern was a respected composer of the late Romantic period, and her father Rainer Pook worked for many years as Herbert von Karajan's assistant at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
